"La Gazzetta dello Sport" page 27 dedicated to Trento

"Executives, sport facilities, ideas: Trento has been discovered as the capital of sport". This was stated this morning on the front page in today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the oldest Italian newspaper that just last weekend celebrated the 120 years of activity.
A fundamentally contribute to this prestigious and authoritative definition was given also by Trentino Volley, that in the article written by Gian Luca Pasini and Nicola Baldoon on full-page 27, is taken as an example in conjunction with Aquila Basket to explain the historical moment that the Council city is living in the gym team sports.
The analysis realized by the most widely read Italian sports newspaper (nearly 4 million readers) starts right with the numbers and the victories achieved by the Company of via Trener and with the words and the Councillor for Sports of the Autonomous Province of Trento Tiziano Mellarini, who speaks about Trentino such as "... a land of volleyball; just think that here was born Lorenzo Bernardi and here has built something important" alluding to the many prestigious victories in the first sixteen years of Trentino Volley’s activities (16 trophies with the first team, including 7 international and 10 league titles with youth sector).
On the journal, there is space also for the considerations of the President Diego Mosna: "Secrets to success? We don’t have any. It is obvious that having important budget helps to stay at the top. Trying to know the right people and the passion in the work. [...] It is true that with the basketball society we contend sponsors and public, but it’s also equally true that we can reach an agreement as happened in the championship final of last year. We must continue to work together. It’s important”.
